R&D ENGINEER

TMB is a company employing some 70+ staff based in Bridgwater, England; and has been in in existence for over 34 years. We continue to lead the industry with our advances in tool design & capability and require someone who wishes to use their theory based learning (ideally MEng or equivalent) and their practical engineering expertise to work closely with the MD who has a hunger for innovative methods to produce high performance thermoforming equipment.

This is a key role in the business and will require key skills within software design packages and simulation; your knowledge of stress principles and fluid analysis will be important along with your knowledge of solid modelling, dimensioning and tolerances.

Customer contact and certainly an element of travel both UK and abroad will be needed to ensure your expertise is used to the full.

STOCK CONTROLLER - Closing date for applications FRIDAY 16th DECEMBER 2011

Working in a busy engineering company, based in Bridgwater you will join our stores department.

The role: This is a hands on role taking responsibility for using our specialist computer system. The input of all stock movements and the accuracy of stock quantities and values on the system.

Experience: Ideally having worked in a stock control environment, and possessing good attention to detail. You will be trained to take control of the system in time.

DESIGN OFFICE TRAINEE - Closing date for applications FRIDAY 16th DECEMBER 2011

You will have a good knowledge of computers, with a keen interest in “Autocad” and "Solidworks” being an advantage, but we will train you; initially you will be involved in transforming 3D models into 2D drawings providing that valuable bit of “admin” in the department, you will be working alongside a dedicated design team that will help you evolve in time to becoming a thermoforming design engineer.
